The small town of Yacolt is nestled in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains in the shadow of Mt. St. Helens. It is on the Scenic Route in North Clark County. Yacolt boasts country living with easy access to the luxuries of the city. Both Vancouver and Portland, Oregon are just a short drive away. Yacolt schools are in the Battle Ground School District and it is home to North Clark Little League. The local library is Fort Vancouver Regional Library. Yacolt is in located in the 18th Legislative District. On July 31, 1908, Yacolt was officially incorporated as a town.
